As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), DialAGeek employs remote automation to monitor and optimize an individual’s or company’s information technology (IT). Rather than incurring the expense of an IT specialist who waits for things to break, MSP’s can constantly keep track of licenses, patch management, error codes, disc space, and updates. The user is provided weekly “system health” reports that show what proactive steps have been taken to insure that their system continues to run smoothly. Most problems are addressed before a user even knows that there is a problem. In the event of an unresolved problem, trouble ticketing is available via an icon in the system tray. If a remote technician is unable to resolve the problem, a certified technician will complete the repair in your home or office.

What methods can DialAGeek use to fix my computer?
Remote Access

With your permission, our technicians have the ability to view your desktop via remote control online. That means they can see what you see on your screen, and share the control of your mouse (or cursor) to fix problems while you watch. This is done by trained technicians in a secure environment. The technicians require consent to take control and you can see exactly what they see. You may revoke access at anytime.

Remote access technology is efficient.

It allows our technician to interact directly with your computer, as if he or she were sitting next to you. When you connect to our secure server, it enables the technician to see what you’re seeing on your desktop, then navigate to the right place to find the problem. It’s usually much faster than trying to describe a problem over the phone to someone who can’t see what you’re talking about.

Remote access technology is secure. You have complete control over your mouse (or cursor) at all times, and can also end the session at any time simply by closing the dialog box.
